After some careless play in the PS Gurame Bakar defense, Deng Zhen Chen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fiz Artealde. The PS Gurame Bakar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fiz Artealde should have stopped the shot. Glintung FC were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after PS Gurame Bakar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Giles Janda took the corner. Fiz Artealde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bandit Idaman in the 37th minute of the match. Chi Liège kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Yance Puspito got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. PS Gurame Bakar's Fiz Artealde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deng Zhen Chen in the 43rd minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dimitri De Rijck to make the kick off.
