Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ha Tay's Phan Duy started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Argravy's Lê Tran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phan Duy in the 5th minute of play. In the 7thth minute of the game Phan Duy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argravy's Lê Tran was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lê Hoang might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Phuong. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lê Hoang ran back to his position shaking his head. Nguyễn Phuong came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Argravy's Bùi Duy. But to his dismay, Bùi Duy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes in the game, Phan Duy fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lê Tran having to interfere. Lê Tran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Trần Tuan Hoang in the 16th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bùi Duy in the 19th minute of play forced Ha Tay's goalkeeper Nguyễn Phuong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lê Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Phuong having to interfere. Nguyễn Phuong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lê Hoang in the 24th minute of play. Bùi Duy blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Phuong having to make a save. Trần Tuan Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Tran having to interfere. Trần Tuan Hoang took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Tran. Lê Tran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ha Tay's Nguyễn Chuong got a free kick in the 46th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lê Hoang was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Trần Tuan Hoang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Argravy getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Trần Nga hit a great ball. 59 minutes into the game, Trần Nga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Argravy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ha Tay the free kick. Trần Nga hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute of the match Phạm Nghiêm-Minh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lê Tran skillfully saved the ball. Nguyễn Phuong was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bùi Duy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 64 minute of play. Bùi Duy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ha Tay's goalkeeper Nguyễn Phuong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 81st minute Trần Tuan Hoang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Tran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Trần Tuan Hoang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Tuan Hoang scored 2-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lê Tran, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ha Tay's Nguyễn Phuong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Hoang in the 93rd minute of play. Nguyễn Tinh charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Tinh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
