When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Duc made a kick off. Nguyễn Van Quyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Trần Nga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Chealse defense, Nguyễn Teo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Trần Nga. The Chealse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Trần Nga should have stopped the shot. Trần Nga made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Nguyễn Van Quyen sent off a good shot on target. Trần Nga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Teo in the 72nd minute of play. If Nguyễn Teo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Nga stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Teo's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. After having played for 84 minutes, Nguyễn Teo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Binh Thuan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Teo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Thi Ngoc during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Nguyễn Van Quyen fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Binh Thuan's protests and gave Nguyễn Van Quyen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Binh Thuan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Van Quyen to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Van Quyen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Trần Nga made a huge save. The Chealse supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Binh Thuan's performance. The match ended with a win for Binh Thuan.
