With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trần Hanh in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trần Minh-ha saved Soc Trang from getting behind. 4 minutes into the game, one of Cao Lanh:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Soc Trang a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nguyễn Duc, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cao Lanh's Nguyễn Hong. 0-1. Cao Lanh's Nguyễn Quang Thanh got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Võ Phong took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Hong. Nguyễn Hong dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, one of Soc Trang:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Cao Lanhs' Trần Minh-ha made a terrific save as he just managed to stop Nguyễn Nams penalty just before it crossed the line at his left post. In the 20th minute Nguyễn Hieu Ngan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Hieu Ngan in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nguyễn Hong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Phong charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Phong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Soc Trang getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nguyễn Phong hit a great ball. 29 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Hieu Ngan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Nguyễn Hong was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Nguyễn Quang Thanh came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Cao Lanh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Quang Thanh couldn't finish the play. Trần Hanh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Trần Minh-ha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Võ Phong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 42 played minutes Cao Lanh got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Dung. In the 44th minute, Võ Phong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Võ Phongs short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Nguyễn Hong to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Quang Thanh in the 65th minute of play forced Soc Trang's goalkeeper Trần Minh-ha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Võ Phong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Hong having to make a save. Trần Minh-ha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Hanh, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Dương Tấn Dũng hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
