Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hoàng Minh took the kick off in the first half of the match. Lê Quang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hoàng Minh, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. In the 8th minute, Nguyễn Thuyet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Van Tai Em recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Hieu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Huế's Lê Quang. Lê Quang was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Huế's attentive Nguyễn Lien managed to snatch the ball when Trần Thi made a throw-in in the 15th minute of the game. Hoàng Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Quang having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Da Lat got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hieu. Nguyễn Lien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Cong Vinh having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Huế's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Minh came free, but Lê Quang reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Da Lat's corner Nguyễn Van Tai Em fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lê Quang quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Huế's zone, Hoàng Minh stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lê Quang came out of the goal and Hoàng Minh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the match, Huế's Triệu Phuong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phan Cong Vinh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Triệu Phuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huế's Nguyễn Lien quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Trần Thi, made in the 47th minute of the game. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Triệu Phuong made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Nguyễn Thi Ngoc got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lê Quang was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nguyễn Lien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Phan Cong Vinh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hoàng Minh in the 70th minute of play forced Huế's goalkeeper Lê Quang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Thi Ngoc got free with Lê Quang in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lê Quang made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hoàng Minh in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute Hoàng Minh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Quang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Da Lat's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Lien came free, but Phan Cong Vinh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Hoàng Minh made a precise shot to the right of Lê Quang. Huế's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 90th minute, Nguyễn Thi Ngoc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lê Quang was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. When Trần Thi fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Da Lat's protests and gave Trần Thi a yellow card for diving instead. Trần Thi kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
