Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Boiu's Nguyễn Ritchell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Trần Tuan Hoang's late challenge caught a Boiu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trần Tuan Hoang helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Tan An was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Tuan Hoang to maneuver through the defense. 15 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Nam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boiu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tan An the free kick. After 15 played minutes Boiu got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Nam. In the 16th minute, Nguyễn Bien left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tan An fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nguyễn Hung hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Boiu's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Phu came free, but Nguyễn Hoai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, Tan An's Nguyễn Phu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nguyễn Hoai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Nguyễn Nam might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lê Tinh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Nam ran back to his position shaking his head. If Nguyễn Nam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Phùng Hoa kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. In the 46thth minute of the game Nguyễn Bien who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boiu's Nguyễn Hoai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Boiu's Nguyễn Hoai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Boiu from getting a goal against them. In the 54th minute of the match Tan An got a corner. Boiu's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nguyễn Tuan ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Phùng Hoa during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nguyễn Bien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Hoai having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Nguyễn Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boiu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Nam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Ritchell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Tinh having to interfere. Tan An's Lê Tinh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Nam in the 69th minute of play. Nguyễn Ritchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Nguyễn Nam managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boiu's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Nam was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lê Tinh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 77th match minute, Boiu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Ritchell to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Nam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Phu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Nguyễn Hoai made a huge save. Lê Tinh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Nam in the 94th minute of play. Lê Tinh came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Boiu's Nguyễn Nam. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Nam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Tan An's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
