Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Trần Tuan kicked off to start the match. Lê Minh Phượng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Thanh having to interfere. Dong Hoi's Lê Minh Phượng got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the game, Phan Van Tai Em was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phu Yen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dong Hoi the free kick. Phan Van Tai Em kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Phu Yen's zone, Lê Minh Phượng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phạm Thanh came out of the goal and Lê Minh Phượng tried to chip the ball over his head. In the 24thth minute of the game Hoàng Tuan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dong Hoi's Phan Phuoc was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Phạm Thanh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Tuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the game, Võ Chung was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phu Yen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dong Hoi the free kick. In the 31st minute, one of Phu Yen:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Phu Yen. The referee gave Dong Hoi a penalty, 32 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Lâm Lien, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Phu Yen's Phạm Thanh. 0-2. The supporters of Phu Yen booed when Dong Hoi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huỳnh Minh didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 minutes of play Phu Yen's Võ Cong Vinh was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Võ Cong Vinh kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Dong Hoi's Lâm Lien broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Dong Hoi's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
