After a rather tough play, 3Superfect's Phạm Cuc got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After 7 played minutes 3Superfect got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Lan. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Duc got free with Nguyễn Thuy in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nguyễn Phong scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phạm Lam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Nguyễn Anh Hung managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tra Vinh's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Anh Hung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phạm Lam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 36 minutes into the match, 3Superfect's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Anh Hung came free, but Phạm Lam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 3Superfect's Phạm Lam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Phong in the 39th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nguyễn Anh Hung managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tra Vinh's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Anh Hung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Phạm Lam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Anh Hung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Phạm Lam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Phong struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Phạm Lam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tra Vinh. In the 47th minute, Phạm Chuong fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice moves Nguyễn Duc could shoot a difficult shot in the 49th minute, which Nguyễn Thuy however easily saved by the left post. The 3Superfect players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tra Vinh were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Phạm Chuong made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, La Hanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 60 minutes into the match, Tra Vinh's Nguyễn Anh Hung sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phạm Lam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nguyễn Lan charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Lan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, 3Superfect was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Lan to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Anh Hung got free with Phạm Lam in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tra Vinh's Nguyễn Thuy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Duc in the 67th minute of play. The supporters of 3Superfect booed when Tra Vinh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. La Hanh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Thuy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phạm Chuong in the 73rd minute of play. In the 75th minute, Nguyễn Anh Hung left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tra Vinh fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 79 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Anh Hung cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Phạm Lam was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Tra Vinh getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Phạm Tan hit a great ball. Nguyễn Anh Hung scored 0-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phạm Lam, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nguyễn Thuy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Duc in the 94th minute of the match. The Tra Vinh supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tra Vinh would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
