Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hung Yen's Nguyễn Thi Ngoc started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Võ Phong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Thi Ngoc in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Duong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Võ Phong. Jolcofse's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Duong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Thi Ngoc in the 11th minute of play forced Jolcofse's goalkeeper Võ Phong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Jolcofse's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Thi Ngoc came free, but Võ Phong reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Nguyễn Viet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Võ Phong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Võ Phong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Viet, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Viet notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Jolcofse's Võ Phong. Võ Phong was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 25 minutes of play, Hung Yen's Nguyễn Thi Ngoc made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Võ Phong was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vũ Diem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Võ Phong came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Hung Yen's Huỳnh Loc. But to his dismay, Huỳnh Loc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in Jolcofse's zone, Huỳnh Loc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Võ Phong came out of the goal and Huỳnh Loc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 39 played minutes Hung Yen got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hoang. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Duong in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Võ Phong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 45th minute, Nguyễn Thi Ngoc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Võ Phong was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After the first half Hung Yen were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Nguyễn Duong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Võ Phong made a huge save. Trần Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Hung Yen's Nguyễn Thi Ngoc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Võ Phong. That made the score 0-6 after 57 minutes of play. In the 61st minute Nguyễn Thi Ngoc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Võ Phong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Jolcofse's Võ Phong got control of the ball when Nguyễn Viet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nguyễn Hoang hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Võ Phong showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Đặng Quang Thanh, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 78th match minute, Jolcofse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phan Tấn Dũng to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Duong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Võ Phong made a huge save. Nguyễn Viet who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 87thth minute tested the skills of Võ Phong when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Nguyễn Duong scored 0-7 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Võ Phong, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nguyễn Duong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hung Yen played a much better game than Jolcofse and deserved their victory. The Jolcofse players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
