Trần Bay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KC FC. Nguyễn Phuong hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Phạm Tuan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Trần Bay. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Phuoc showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Lý Phong fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KC FC's protests and gave Lý Phong a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, KC FC's Lý Phong got a free kick in the 79th minute. If Đỗ Tu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Phuong charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Phuong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nguyễn Phuong hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Đỗ Tu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Bay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KC FC's Lý Phong quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Nguyễn Hung , made in the 97th minute of the game. When KC FC's Đỗ Tu in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hai Duong's goalie prevented a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see KC FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
