Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nguyễn Chuong made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Lê Hung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trần Bay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Loc, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Nguyễn Xuan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Trần Bay skillfully saved the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Chuong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Trần Bay. Hai Duong's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Chuong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Hai Duong booed when Chealse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Thanh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Liễu Minh Phượng took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hoàng Chung, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trần Bay came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Chealse's Lê Hung. But to his dismay, Lê Hung quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Hai Duong's Hoàng Chung in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chealse's goalie prevented a goal. In the 44th minute, Nguyễn Thanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Xuan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The Hai Duong players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Chealse were winning 0-2.
When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Lê Hung sped through Hai Duong's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Trần Bay. After 61 played minutes Hai Duong got a freekick which was hit by Trần Hieu Ngan. Nguyễn Chuong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Nguyễn Khoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hai Duong and the Chealse players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Hai Duong getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Nguyễn Khoi hit a great ball. Trần Bay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Chuong in the 72nd minute of play. In the 75th minute Nguyễn Chuong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Bay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nguyễn Chuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Hung who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Trần Bay when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Trần Bay came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chealse's Lê Hung. But to his dismay, Lê Hung quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. In the 86th minute, Nguyễn Chuong fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Trần Bay, passed just outside the right post. Trần Bay made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Lê Hung sent off a good shot on target. Trần Bay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Chuong in the 90th minute of play. Trần Bay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Chuong in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over Chealse could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hai Duong throughout the match.
