Ngô Tuan Hoang hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Liem in the 4th minute of play forced Quang Ngai's goalkeeper Trịnh Hoai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Trần Chung could shoot a difficult shot in the 6th minute, which Trịnh Hoai however easily saved by the left post. Nguyễn Liem's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trịnh Hoai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. After 9 played minutes Quang Ngai got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Tong. Trịnh Hoai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trần Chung went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 16 minutes into the game, Buon Ma Thuot's Trần Chung nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trịnh Hoai made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Trịnh Hoai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Liem, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. A collision led to Quang Ngai getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Nguyễn Tong hit a great ball. 23 minutes in the game, Nguyễn Liem fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Trịnh Hoai having to interfere. Nguyễn Liem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27thth minute of the game Trần Chung who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quang Ngai's Trịnh Hoai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Quang Ngai's goalkeeper Trịnh Hoai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Trần Chung. If Trần Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Chungs short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Trịnh Hoai to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Trịnh Hoai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Liem in the 37th minute of the match. The Buon Ma Thuot fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Buon Ma Thuot's Nguyễn Liem looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 43rd minute, Nguyễn Liem got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Quang Ngai's Nguyễn Tran got a free kick in the 56th minute. Trịnh Hoai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Chung in the 58th minute of the match. Nguyễn Liem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trịnh Hoai having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Trần Chung ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Trịnh Hoai was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. If Nguyễn Tong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bùi Khoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Liem in the 76th minute of play forced Quang Ngai's goalkeeper Trịnh Hoai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trần Chung in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Trịnh Hoai saved Quang Ngai from getting behind. Bùi Khoi kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Trần Chung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Trịnh Hoai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Liem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trịnh Hoai having to interfere. Nguyễn Tong's late challenge caught a Buon Ma Thuot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Tong helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Quang Ngai's Nguyễn Tong got a free kick in the 89th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Buon Ma Thuot had won after a very even match.
