Seating: 1808, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nguyễn Mai got the match started through his kick off. Huỳnh Chi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Huỳnh Minh Phượng made a huge save. Nguyễn Quang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Lien's late challenge caught a Tam Ky's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Lien helped the player get up and apologised. Nguyễn Lien kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Huỳnh Chi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Huỳnh Minh Phượng when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Huỳnh Minh Phượng made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Huỳnh Chi sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Tam Ky's Huỳnh Chi got a free kick in the 15th minute. Huỳnh Chi was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 17th minute. Tam Ky's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Binh Duong's Huỳnh Minh Phượng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Binh Duong from getting a goal against them. Huỳnh Minh Phượng didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 24th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trần Lien during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th minute, Trần Lien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Huỳnh Minh Phượng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Huỳnh Chi in the 29th minute. In the 42nd minute, Tam Ky's Nguyễn Quang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Huỳnh Minh Phượng. Huỳnh Minh Phượng yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After having played for 46 minutes, Nguyễn Quang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tam Ky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Quang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Tam Ky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phạm Viet to maneuver through the defense.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Quang made the kick off in the second half. Huỳnh Minh Phượng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Huỳnh Chi went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Binh Duong's Huỳnh Minh Phượng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huỳnh Chi in the 62nd minute of play. Huỳnh Minh Phượng made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Huỳnh Chi in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Huỳnh Chi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Huỳnh Minh Phượng was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Nguyễn Lien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vương Tuan having to interfere. Huỳnh Minh Phượng didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Quang went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 80 minutes, Trần Minh-ha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tam Ky's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trần Minh-ha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Nguyễn Mai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nguyễn Quang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huỳnh Chi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Huỳnh Minh Phượng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tam Ky's Huỳnh Chi got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Quang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tam Ky had won after a very even match.
