Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nguyễn Mai got the match started through his kick off. Binh Duong's Huỳnh Minh Phượng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Binh Duong from getting a goal against them. Võ Tong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Huỳnh Minh Phượng tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Binh Duong's Huỳnh Minh Phượng proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Binh Duong from getting a goal against them. After having played for 15 minutes, Nguyễn Chung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nam Dinh's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Chung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nguyễn Mai hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Võ Tong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Chung in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Huỳnh Minh Phượng, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Huỳnh Minh Phượng showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Võ Tong in the 24th minute of the match. Nguyễn Chung's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Huỳnh Minh Phượng skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Nguyễn Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Võ Tong struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Huỳnh Minh Phượng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nam Dinh. The supporters of Binh Duong booed when Nam Dinh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Chung recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nguyễn Quang charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Quang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 72 minutes into the game, one of Binh Duong:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Nam Dinh a penalty, 74 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nguyễn Thien, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Binh Duong's Huỳnh Minh Phượng. 2-0. If Nguyễn Chung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Võ Tong quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 90th minute, Võ Tong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Chung took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Huỳnh Minh Phượng. Huỳnh Minh Phượng dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0.
