Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trần Dong during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Cheo Reo booed when Binh Duong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Dong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Dong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Lê Loc made a huge save. In the 14th minute, the referee gave Binh Duong a penalty. Võ Viet looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Lê Loc. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lê Loc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang ran back to his position shaking his head. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Loc having to interfere. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Lê Loc 24 minutes into the match. 29 minutes in the game, Nguyễn Dong fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lê Loc having to interfere. Võ Chi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Lê Ho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Dong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Võ Chi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lê Loc. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang ran back to his position shaking his head. Lê Ho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Võ Chi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Tuan Hoang made a kick off. With his leg Lê Ho managed to avoid a goal in the 52ndth minute, when Cheo Reo's Võ Chi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th minute Nguyễn Hieu Ngan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Ho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lê Ho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Hieu Ngan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lê Loc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Tuan Hoang, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th match minute, Cheo Reo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phan Than to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Tuan Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lê Loc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Tuan Hoang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd match minute, Binh Duong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Tuan Hoang to maneuver through the defense. Cheo Reo were awarded a corner in the 75th minute after Binh Duong's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nguyễn Van Tai Em took the corner. Nguyễn Dong took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Loc. Lê Loc dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If Nguyễn Dong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 84th minute, Nguyễn Dong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes Binh Duong got a freekick which was hit by Trần Dong. If Nguyễn Dong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lê Ho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Hieu Ngan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Binh Duong were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cheo Reo for a fine match.
