Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Phạm Thien got the match started through his kick off. Huỳnh Phus short, quick shot in the 9thth minute got Lương Nghiêm-Minh to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Hoàng Phuc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lương Nghiêm-Minh was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Nguyễn Pham took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Phạm Thien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Pham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phạm Thien in the 20th minute of the match. Phạm Van Tai Em hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Nguyễn Nghiêm-Minh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Huỳnh Phu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hoàng Phuc in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lương Nghiêm-Minh saved Hung Yen from getting behind. Huỳnh Phu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lương Nghiêm-Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phạm Thien struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Nguyễn Pham didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hung Yen. Nguyễn Pham stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Phạm Pham's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The audience was convinced that Phạm Thien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Pham was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 45th minute, Phạm Pham made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Pham. Phuoc Tich's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 48th match minute, Hung Yen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Duong to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hoàng Phuc in the 49th minute of play forced Hung Yen's goalkeeper Lương Nghiêm-Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hoàng Phuc made a kick off. Lương Nghiêm-Minh came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Phuoc Tich's Nguyễn Loc. But to his dismay, Nguyễn Loc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Hoàng Phuc struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Lương Nghiêm-Minh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phuoc Tich. The supporters of Phuoc Tich booed when Hung Yen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Duong didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Trần Dong shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lương Nghiêm-Minh showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Hoàng Phuc came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Phuoc Tich fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hoàng Phuc couldn't finish the play. After 68 minutes of play, Phuoc Tich's Hoàng Phuc made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lương Nghiêm-Minh was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lương Nghiêm-Minh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hoàng Phuc in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Lý Hanh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute, Hoàng Phuc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lương Nghiêm-Minh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huỳnh Phu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Phạm Thien managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hung Yen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phạm Thien was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 86th minute of the match Nguyễn Duong completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nguyễn Duong a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. If Huỳnh Phu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 95 minutes, Phạm Pham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hung Yen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phạm Pham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phuoc Tich's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
