Mui Ne's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cam Ranh the free kick. A collision led to Mui Ne getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Hồ Thanh hit a great ball. Phạm Ritchell hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. After 22 minutes, Nguyễn Hung mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mui Ne and the Cam Ranh players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Cam Ranh booed when Mui Ne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Hung didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Mui Ne's Tôn Chi got control of the ball when Nguyễn Cuc tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mui Ne's Tôn Chi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mui Ne from getting a goal against them. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 37 minutes into the game, Ngô Dong was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee ignored Cam Ranh's protests and gave Phạm Ritchell a yellow card for diving instead. Phạm Ritchell hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Hồ Thanh in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Trần Tuyet, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Hoàng Mai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tôn Chi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Hoàng Mai had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tôn Chi. Mui Ne's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hoàng Mai was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hồ Thanh got free with Trần Tuyet in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 69th match minute, Cam Ranh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phạm Ritchell to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Hồ Thanh managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mui Ne's supporters rose to their feet, but Hồ Thanh was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Tuyet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Tôn Chi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 74 minutes into the game, Hoàng Mai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Tôn Chi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Cam Ranh's zone, Ngô Dong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trần Tuyet came out of the goal and Ngô Dong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nguyễn Cuc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tôn Chi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Mui Ne's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Mai came free, but Tôn Chi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Chung Quang Thanh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tôn Chi was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 87th minute, Hồ Thanh got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Trần Tuyet acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 95th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nguyễn Dinh. Cam Ranh's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
