Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Võ Minh Phượng made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dương Van Tai Em got free with Phạm Nam in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Trần Minh Phượng received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Phạm Nam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Phu Ly's Nguyễn Tu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Trần Phu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Diem in the 23rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Nguyễn Diem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Phu Ly's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Diem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Phu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lê Hoa was shown his second yellow card after 29 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 30th minute, Lê Hoa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trần Phu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Võ Minh Phượng's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. When Phu Ly's Võ Minh Phượng in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garu FC's goalie prevented a goal. Nguyễn Tu kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The long shot by Phạm Hoang in the 35th minute really tested Phạm Nam's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Phạm Nam didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dương Van Tai Em went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute, Phạm Hoang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Garu FC's Nguyễn Minh got a free kick in the 44th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dương Van Tai Em to make the kick off. Trần Phu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Võ Minh Phượng in the 53rd minute of play. Dương Van Tai Em blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phạm Nam having to make a save. Garu FC's Dương Van Tai Em got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Trần Dung was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Phu Ly's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Garu FC the free kick. In the 59th minute, Trần Dung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Garu FC were awarded a corner in the 62th minute after Phu Ly's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Phạm Hoang took the corner. At last the ball reached Bùi Huỳnh at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Phu Ly. 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Võ Minh Phượng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Trần Phu. That made the score 2-1 in the 66 minute of play. In the 76thth minute of the game Võ Minh Phượng who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garu FC's Trần Phu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dương Van Tai Em sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Diem struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Trần Phu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phu Ly. After 90 minutes, Nguyễn Minh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Garu FC and the Phu Ly players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Garu FC's Nguyễn Minh got a free kick in the 90th minute. Dương Van Tai Em sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trần Phu was a little too slow when Võ Minh Phượng got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 2-2.
