If Trần Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. haohan's Hoàng Tho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save haohan from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Trần Ho made the kick off in the second half. If Nguyễn Mai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Hong charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Hong the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Nguyễn Hong hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Trần Ho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. haohan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mong Cai the free kick. After 61 played minutes haohan got a freekick which was hit by Trần Ho. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Trần Ho managed to get in a good position for a shot. haohan's supporters rose to their feet, but Trần Ho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chung Nhật Minh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hoàng Tho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Mai, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Trần Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huỳnh Thanh Bình sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nguyễn Nam during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nguyễn Nam kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Hoàng Tho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Mai, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. haohan's Hoàng Tho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Mai in the 80th minute of play. Hoàng Mai's late challenge caught a Mong Cai's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hoàng Mai helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to haohan getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Hoàng Mai hit a great ball. Hoàng Tho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trần Tran in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th match minute, haohan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Duc to maneuver through the defense. Hoàng Tho came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Mong Cai's Trần Minh-ha. But to his dismay, Trần Minh-ha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0.
