Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nguyễn Loc kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Dak Nong getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Nguyễn Ho hit a great ball. In the 5th minute of the match Phạm Tran sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nguyễn Huy skillfully saved the ball. Văn Tinh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lê Thanh Bình having to make a save. In the 9th minute, Trần Dung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Trần Dung shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Huy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dak Nong's goalkeeper Nguyễn Huy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 14th play minutes Nguyễn Loc shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nguyễn Huy and just under the crossbar into goal. 17 minutes into the match, Dak Nong's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Loc came free, but Nguyễn Huy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Liễu Phuong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Đặng Cadeo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. The referee ignored Dak Nong's protests and gave Huỳnh Tấn Dũng a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dak Nong! Lê Nghiêm-Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Lê Thanh Bình tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dak Nong's Liễu Phuong got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Văn Tinh might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lê Thanh Bình. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Văn Tinh ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Tuyen Quang were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Văn Tinh to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Liễu Phuong put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Lê Thanh Bình. Trần Dung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Huy having to interfere. 61 minutes into the game, Lê Nghiêm-Minh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dak Nong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tuyen Quang the free kick. Lê Nghiêm-Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Tuyen Quang's Phạm Tran couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Dak Nong. Liễu Phuong struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lê Thanh Bình didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dak Nong. Lê Thanh Bình made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Văn Tinh in the 66th minute of play. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tuyen Quang! Lê Thanh Bình went to the wrong direction when Huỳnh Tấn Dũng was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Nguyễn Loc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Tuyen Quang's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trần Dung got free with Nguyễn Huy in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Dak Nong booed when Tuyen Quang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mai Huynh Duc didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Liễu Phuong in the 85th minute of play forced Tuyen Quang's goalkeeper Lê Thanh Bình to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Trần Dung managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tuyen Quang's supporters rose to their feet, but Trần Dung was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Huy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 88th minute, Huỳnh Tho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tuyen Quang's Lê Thanh Bình played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Văn Tinh in the 91st minute of play. After 101 minutes of play, Dak Nong's Văn Tinh made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lê Thanh Bình was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Tuyen Quang players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
