Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Trần Minh-ha kicked off to start the match. Ngô Hoai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Mai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Phuong kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Nguyễn Mai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Mong Cai booed when Phan Rang-Thap Cham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phan Tho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Phạm Viet kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Phan Rang-Thap Cham's Võ Ritchell got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Võ Ritchell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Chung Nhật Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Võ Ritchell in the 23rd minute of play forced Mong Cai's goalkeeper Chung Nhật Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ngô Hoai didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trần Minh-ha went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 40 minutes of play, Mong Cai's Trần Minh-ha made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ngô Hoai was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Võ Ritchell to make the kick off. Võ Teo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Phan Rang-Thap Cham's Võ Ritchell in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chung Nhật Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Võ Ritchell in the 85th minute of play. Võ Ritchell recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Võ Teo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 92nd minute Võ Ritchell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chung Nhật Minh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Võ Ritchell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Chung Nhật Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
