Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mai Nam kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Vinh Phuc booed when haohan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lê Phong didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, haohan's Hoàng Mai got a free kick in the 10th minute. Hoàng Tho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mai Nam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to haohan getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Nguyễn Nam hit a great ball. haohan's Trần Ho got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hoàng Tho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. haohan's Hoàng Tho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save haohan from getting a goal against them. Huỳnh Thanh Bình might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Võ Nhật Minh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Huỳnh Thanh Bình ran back to his position shaking his head. If Trần Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. But to his dismay, Trần Ho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Đinh Tho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Hoàng Tho made a huge save. Nguyễn Nam kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Huỳnh Thanh Bình received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Võ Nhật Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Huy charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nguyễn Huy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, haohan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Huy to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Trần Ho was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trần Ho got free with Võ Nhật Minh in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Nguyễn Nam fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vinh Phuc's protests and gave Nguyễn Nam a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vinh Phuc's Nguyễn Nam got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 95 played minutes haohan got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Thai. Lê Van Tai Em struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Hoàng Tho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vinh Phuc. haohan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
