Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nguyễn Tong made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Son Tay got a freekick which was hit by Trần Ho. Lê Bien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Tong in the 4th minute of the match. Huỳnh Quang Thanh kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Nguyễn Tong was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lê Bien made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nguyễn Thi Ngoc in the 9th minute. Huỳnh Quang Thanh's late challenge caught a Trang Bang's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huỳnh Quang Thanh helped the player get up and apologised. Nguyễn Tong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nguyễn Thi Ngoc got free in front of the goal in the 16th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Lê Bien was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Lê Bien was out of position in the 17 minute of play, and Nguyễn Tong capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nguyễn Tong really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nguyễn Duy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lê Hoang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Duc in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lê Hoang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nguyễn Tong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Thi Ngoc in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lê Bien saved Son Tay from getting behind. In the 46th minute, Đỗ Dung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Nguyễn Thi Ngoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Bien having to interfere. In the 75th minute, Lê Hoang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trang Bang's Lê Hoang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Duy in the 81st minute of play. Nguyễn Tong took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Bien. Lê Bien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Nguyễn Thi Ngoc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Bien having to interfere. Chung Thuyet kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. A hard shot by Lê Phuc from long distance, 96 minutes into the match, got Lê Hoang's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Son Tay's Nguyễn Duy got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Trang Bang fully deserved thier win.
