Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Đặng Ho kicked off to start the match. Nguyễn Cuc took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trần Van Tai Em, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the game, Đặng Ho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nguyễn Dong. Đặng Ho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 12 played minutes Da Lat got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Nhật Minh. Lý Duong who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Nguyễn Dong when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With an all-out effort, Phan Rang-Thap Cham's Nguyễn Dong threw himself towards the right post 15 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Đặng Ho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 16th minute, Mai Teo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Da Lat's zone, Đặng Ho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Dong came out of the goal and Đặng Ho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Đặng Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Đặng Ho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nguyễn Cuc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Đỗ Cuc went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lý Duong recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Đặng Ho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Lý Duong reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nguyễn Dong. The goal made the score 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Trần Van Tai Em stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Phan Rang-Thap Cham's Nguyễn Hieu Ngan got a free kick in the 51st minute. Lưu Minh charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lưu Minh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lưu Minh hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The supporters of Phan Rang-Thap Cham booed when Da Lat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trần Dong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Đặng Ho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Nguyễn Dong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hồ Lam could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Nguyễn Cuc made a huge save. Trần Van Tai Em fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Cuc having to interfere. Da Lat's Nguyễn Dong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Đặng Ho in the 96th minute of play. Phan Rang-Thap Cham's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
