After 68 minutes, Nguyễn Khoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lang Son and the Ha Tinh players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 68th match minute, Lang Son was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Khoi to maneuver through the defense. Tạ Lan hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Lang Son's Nguyễn Teo got control of the ball when Nguyễn Thi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Trần Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nguyễn Thi might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nguyễn Teo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Thi ran back to his position shaking his head. When the final whistle sounded Ha Tinh left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Lang Son.
