Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lê Loc got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Lê Loc notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Lao Cai's Lê Phuong. In the 16th minute, Quang Ninh's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nguyễn Anh Hung fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Quang Ninh's Nguyễn Ho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Chung in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Lao Cai booed when Quang Ninh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Phuc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Phuc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28thth minute of the game Lê Loc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lao Cai's Lê Phuong was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Cong Vinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Lê Phuong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huỳnh Tấn Dũng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Ho having to interfere. Lao Cai's Lê Phuong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Loc in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute Nguyễn Cong Vinh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Phuong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nguyễn Cong Vinh came free with the goalkeeper in the 53rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lê Phuong could save by the left post. In the 55th minute, Lê Loc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lê Loc in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lê Phuong prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The Lao Cai fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Lao Cai's Nguyễn Anh Hung looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lao Cai's Lê Phuong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Loc in the 64th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lê Loc in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lê Phuong saved Lao Cai from getting behind. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lao Cai's goalkeeper Lê Phuong, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
