Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Bùi Dong got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Viet Tri's zone, Bùi Dong stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Phùng Bay came out of the goal and Bùi Dong tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Viet Tri's Phùng Bay got control of the ball when Lê Duc tried to sneak it across the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Nam came free, but Nguyễn Tuyet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Lê Binh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nguyễn Tuyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Hoang in the 19th minute of the match. Lê Duc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lê Duc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Trần Nam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Tuyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Hoang in the 41st minute of the match. Lê Binh charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lê Binh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Hoang made the kick off in the second half. Bùi Dong took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Phùng Bay. Phùng Bay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 70th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Nga to maneuver through the defense. Trần Nam's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Nguyễn Tuyet skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Nguyễn Hoang took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Nguyễn Tuyet to make any attempt to save it. 75 minutes into the match, Viet Tri's Trần Nam sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nguyễn Tuyet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Nguyễn Hoang managed to get in a good position for a shot. Viet Tri's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Hoang was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Tuyet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 95 minutes into the match, Manchester United's Bùi Dong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Phùng Bay narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
