Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Võ Nguyet made the kick off which started today's match. After 9 minutes, Nguyễn Thuyet mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ha Tay and the Bac Kan players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Bac Kan booed when Ha Tay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Thuyet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nguyễn Van Tai Em's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phan Nam read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Ha Tay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Hoa to maneuver through the defense. Huỳnh Dong kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Ha Tay's Phạm Van Quyen broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Võ Nguyet was extremely unlucky when he, in the 25th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 27th match minute, Bac Kan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Tuan Hoang to maneuver through the defense. A hard and well directed shot from Phạm Van Quyen led 28 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Bac Kan's Nguyễn Tinh became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 1-1. If Phạm Lan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Đoàn Minh kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Nguyễn Loc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ha Tay's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Loc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Tinh breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bac Kan's Nguyễn Tinh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Phạm Lan in the 43rd minute of play. Nguyễn Tinh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Phạm Lan in the 45th minute of the match. Nguyễn Van Tai Em fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Nam having to interfere.
A collision led to Bac Kan getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Hoàng Tho hit a great ball. Nguyễn Loc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Tinh having to make a save. Võ Nguyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Phan Nam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 62 minutes, Võ Nguyet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bac Kan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Võ Nguyet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Ha Tay getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Phạm Van Quyen hit a great ball. Nguyễn Duong took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Phan Nam. Ha Tay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 66 played minutes Bac Kan got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Tuan Hoang. Phan Nam made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Võ Nguyet in the 72nd minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, Bac Kan's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Loc came free, but Nguyễn Tinh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bac Kan's zone, Phạm Lan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Tinh came out of the goal and Phạm Lan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Võ Nguyet put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Phan Nam. In the 93rd minute, Huỳnh Dong had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Nguyễn Van Tai Em fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phan Nam having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ha Tay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bac Kan.
