An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Hieu Ngan in the 3rd minute of play forced Sharry Jrs's goalkeeper Trần Duc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Hieu Ngan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Trần Duc, 1-0. 13 minutes into the match, La Hoang had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Phạm Than. The Red Devils's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that La Hoang was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Trần Duc made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Hieu Ngan in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trần Thien during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes The Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Trần Thien. Sharry Jrs's Lê Tran couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 26th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for The Red Devils. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Duc having to interfere. When Sharry Jrs's Võ Minh-ha in 38 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Phạm Than guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 38th minute, Trần Thien hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Red Devils's Trần Thien got his second yellow card of the match in the 42nd minute. The referee ordered Trần Thien off the ground. After a rather tough play, The Red Devils's Trần Thien got a free kick in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute, La Hoang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Võ Minh-ha to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Sharry Jrs's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Hoang came free, but Trần Duc reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Võ Minh-ha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Than having to interfere. Trần Duc didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for The Red Devils. Nguyễn Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Nguyễn Hieu Ngan managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Red Devils's supporters rose to their feet, but Nguyễn Hieu Ngan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Duc breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 82 minutes into the game, Võ Minh-ha recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Phạm Than. Võ Minh-ha showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. If La Hoang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 89 minutes in the game, Võ Minh-ha fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Phạm Than having to interfere. Lê Dinh hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. The The Red Devils supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sharry Jrs's performance. The match ended with a win for Sharry Jrs.
