Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. In the 4th minute Nguyễn Pham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nghiêm Huỳnh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trần Ho struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Hoàng Chi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bắc Giang. If Hoàng Nhật Minh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hoàng Nhật Minh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nghiêm Huỳnh having to interfere. After having played for 15 minutes, Hoàng Nhật Minh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Qui Nhon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hoàng Nhật Minh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nghiêm Huỳnh was out of position in the 16 minute of play, and Nguyễn Pham capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nguyễn Pham really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Trần Ho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hoàng Nhật Minh got free with Nghiêm Huỳnh in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qui Nhon's Nguyễn Pham got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Tạ Hung came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Bắc Giang fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tạ Hung couldn't finish the play. After having played for 31 minutes, Hoàng Nhật Minh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The wind increased when Trần Ho made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Pham in the 55th minute of play forced Bắc Giang's goalkeeper Nghiêm Huỳnh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Tạ Hung was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bắc Giang's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Qui Nhon the free kick. After a rather tough play, Bắc Giang's Tạ Hung got a free kick in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the game, one of Bắc Giang:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Nguyễn Pham put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Nghiêm Huỳnh. Nghiêm Huỳnh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Pham in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Hoàng Nhật Minh ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nghiêm Huỳnh was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. If Nguyễn Pham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the match, Bắc Giang's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Nhật Minh came free, but Nghiêm Huỳnh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bắc Giang's Nghiêm Huỳnh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hoàng Nhật Minh in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Hoàng Nhật Minh shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nghiêm Huỳnh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Qui Nhon's Nguyễn Pham nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nghiêm Huỳnh made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Nguyễn Pham hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bắc Giang's zone, Nguyễn Pham stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nghiêm Huỳnh came out of the goal and Nguyễn Pham tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Qui Nhon's Hoàng Nhật Minh got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Nguyễn Pham shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nghiêm Huỳnh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Qui Nhon fully deserved thier win.
