Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Võ Cuc made the kick off which started today's match. Võ Nguyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Nguyễn Tuyet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Van Tai Em had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nguyễn Tuyet. Cai Be's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nguyễn Van Tai Em was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Võ Cuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 19 minutes, Võ Nguyet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bac Kan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Võ Nguyet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes Bac Kan got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Duong. 23 minutes into the match, Bac Kan's goalkeeper Nguyễn Tinh had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bùi Bay. In the 24th minute Nguyễn Van Tai Em shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Tuyet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bùi Bay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nguyễn Tinh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Van Tai Em struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Nguyễn Tuyet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bac Kan. In the 36th play minute Bùi Bay came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Nguyễn Tinh. 3-1. In the 39th minute of the match, Võ Cuc tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nguyễn Tinh saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 40 played minutes Bac Kan got a freekick which was hit by Huỳnh Dong. Võ Cuc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Tinh read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Bac Kan's Nguyễn Tinh played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Minh in the 44th minute of play. Bùi Bay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tinh having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Võ Nguyet to make the kick off. Bùi Bay scored 4-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nguyễn Tinh, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 55 minutes, Trần Duc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cai Be and the Bac Kan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trần Duc kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If Nguyễn Van Tai Em had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Võ Nguyet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tuyet having to interfere. Nguyễn Tinh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hồ Dinh's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. If Bùi Bay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 83 minutes into the match, Bac Kan's goal looked a bit too open when Bùi Bay came free, but Nguyễn Tinh reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Van Tai Em sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nguyễn Tuyet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Võ Nguyet in the 91st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bac Kan's zone, Bùi Bay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nguyễn Tinh came out of the goal and Bùi Bay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bac Kan's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
