After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Võ Huynh Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 69th minute, Đặng Hung got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Tuan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Teo having to make a save. Nguyễn Tuan struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Nguyễn Teo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nghe An. Đặng Hung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Nghe An got a freekick which was hit by Lê Phu. If Đặng Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nghe An's zone, Đặng Hung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lê Anh Hung came out of the goal and Đặng Hung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Võ Huynh Ducs short, quick shot in the 93rdth minute got Lê Anh Hung to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Võ Huynh Duc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Lê Anh Hung made a huge save. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. HaNoi had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
