In the 17th minute Đặng Tran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trần Cong Vinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Nguyễn Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Đặng Tran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Trần Cong Vinh managed to get in a good position for a shot. The HaNoi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching BINH DINH FC's performance. The match ended with a win for BINH DINH FC.
