Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Trần Huy took the kick off in the first half of the match. Trần Huy scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Chung Loc, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 6 minutes of play, Hai Duong's Trần Huy made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Chung Loc was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trần Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Huy in the 19th minute of play forced Tay Ninh's goalkeeper Chung Loc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 21 minutes, Trần Minh took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Đặng Lien to make any attempt to save it. In the 29th minute, Hai Duong's Võ Chung seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Võ Chung the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Hai Duong protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Võ Chung had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Đặng Lien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Lan in the 31st minute of play. Trần Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Đặng Lien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Nguyễn Tuan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tay Ninh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hai Duong the free kick. Nguyễn Tuan hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Phạm Duc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Chung Loc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.
When Lý Van Quyen came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Tay Ninh fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lý Van Quyen couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Lý Van Quyen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Đặng Lien was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Lý Van Quyen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đặng Lien having to interfere. Triệu Phuong kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Đặng Lien didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Trần Minh went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Đặng Lien came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Tay Ninh's Trần Minh. But to his dismay, Trần Minh quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Trần Hieu Ngan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Chung Loc made a huge save. Văn Diem kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70th minute of the match Lê Phu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Đặng Lien skillfully saved the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Huỳnh Dong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Đặng Lien was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Đặng Lien showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Trần Minh, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the match, Lý Van Quyen notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Hai Duong's Đặng Lien. Đặng Lien was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lý Van Quyen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Đặng Lien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tay Ninh had won after a very even match.
