Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nguyễn Nguyet in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lê Thanh Bình prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phan Cong Vinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bùi Nga during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Dak To's Phan Cong Vinh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lê Thanh Bình narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
