Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Nguyễn Duc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 4 minutes into the game, Trịnh Hung cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Đặng Liem was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nguyễn Thien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Minh Phượng in the 12th minute of play forced Lang Son's goalkeeper Đặng Liem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Chung was a little too slow when Nguyễn Thien got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. Đặng Liem made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Trần Minh Phượng in the 25th minute of play. Trần Minh Phượng fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đặng Liem having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Lang Son's Nguyễn Thien ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nguyễn Chung. Nguyễn Chung yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. When Phạm Dong fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ca Mau's protests and gave Phạm Dong a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ca Mau's Phạm Dong got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 40th minute, Bùi Loc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nguyễn Chung was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.
In the 51st minute, Nguyễn Hieu made a precise shot to the right of Đặng Liem. Lang Son's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Thien in the 55th minute of play forced Ca Mau's goalkeeper Nguyễn Chung to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Trần Minh Phượng's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Đặng Liem was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Đặng Liem made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Trịnh Hung sent off a good shot on target. When Bùi Chuong was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 82 minutes had been played. A collision led to Lang Son getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Bùi Chuong hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Trịnh Hung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ca Mau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Trịnh Hung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 87th minute Trần Minh Phượng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đặng Liem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trần Minh Phượng struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Đặng Liem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ca Mau. Bùi Loc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lang Son had won after a very even match.
