Nguyễn Hanh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Cuc, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Chung Hung left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ba Ria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19th minute Nguyễn Cuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nguyễn Hanh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chung Hung fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Hanh having to interfere. Nguyễn Hanh stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nguyễn Cuc's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. In the 24thth minute of the game Nguyễn Cuc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VuStorm's Nguyễn Hanh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Phạm Tho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lê Dung made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phan Thi Ngoc in the 29th minute of play. Lê Dung made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Phạm Tho sent off a good shot on target. Phan Thi Ngoc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lê Dung read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. After some careless play in the VuStorm defense, Nguyễn Cuc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nguyễn Hanh. The VuStorm fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nguyễn Hanh should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Ba Ria's Nguyễn Cuc got a free kick in the 39th minute. Nguyễn Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Nguyễn Hanh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Cuc made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Phạm Tho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VuStorm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Phạm Tho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, VuStorm's Phạm Tho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lê Dung narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Chung Hung notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of VuStorm's Nguyễn Hanh. Nguyễn Hanh was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nguyễn Cuc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Lý Hung kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Ba Ria's goal looked a bit too open when Phạm Tho came free, but Lê Dung reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nguyễn Hanh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Cuc in the 97th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
