Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nguyễn Duong started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Liễu Quang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Duong in the 3rd minute of the match. A collision led to Cao Lanh getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Nguyễn Hoang hit a great ball. If Hoàng Thai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Duong struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Liễu Quang didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nha Trang. 15 minutes into the match, Nha Trang's Hoàng Thai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Liễu Quang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nguyễn Duong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Nha Trang's Dương Than played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Hong in the 30th minute of play. After 33 played minutes Cao Lanh got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Hoang. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cao Lanh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 34th minute. Penalty! If Hoàng Thai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dương Than made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Hong in the 40th minute of play. Nguyễn Hong hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nguyễn Hong to strike the kick off in the second half. Trần Hoai kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Phạm Hieu missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 54 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Liễu Quang right hand side. 58 minutes into the match, Cao Lanh's Nguyễn Hong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dương Than narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lê Hieu kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Liễu Quang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hoàng Thai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Tuyet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nha Trang's Dương Than proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Nha Trang from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nguyễn Tuyet got free with Dương Than in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dương Than showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Hong in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Phạm Hieu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute of the match, Nguyễn Hong tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dương Than saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Liễu Quang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hoàng Thai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cao Lanh's Liễu Quang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hoàng Thai in the 83rd minute of play. Nguyễn Duong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Liễu Quang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dương Than was out of position in the 90 minute of play, and Nguyễn Hoang capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nguyễn Hoang really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. With a little luck, Nha Trang's Dương Than got control of the ball when Nguyễn Tuyet tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
