Lê Cuc's late challenge caught a VuStorm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lê Cuc helped the player get up and apologised. In the 10th minute, Lê Cuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13thth minute of the game Nguyễn Tinh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but VuStorm's Nguyễn Hanh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nguyễn Hanh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Tinh in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st match minute, VuStorm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Van Tai Em to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Hanh didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nguyễn Tinh went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 28th minute, Phan Thi Ngoc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When VuStorm's Phan Thi Ngoc in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rach Gia's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rach Gia's zone, Phan Thi Ngoc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Trần Mai came out of the goal and Phan Thi Ngoc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Phan Thi Ngoc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute of the match, Phạm Tho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Trần Mai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rach Gia's goalkeeper Trần Mai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when Phan Thi Ngoc made the kick off in the second half. Nguyễn Tinh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Nguyễn Hanh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VuStorm's Nguyễn Hanh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save VuStorm from getting a goal against them. Nguyễn Hanh showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Đặng Bien in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Nguyễn Tinh left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rach Gia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Phan Thi Ngoc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
