Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After some careless play in the Ninh Binh defense, Trần Thanh Bình kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nguyễn Hung. The Ninh Binh fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nguyễn Hung should have stopped the shot. In the 10th minute Nguyễn Cuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hồ Tho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ninh Binh's Nguyễn Hung played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trần Thuy in the 17th minute of play. Trần Thuy took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Hung. Nguyễn Hung dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 34th minute, Lê Viet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trần Thuy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Nguyễn Hung tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trần Thanh Bình received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.
The wind increased when Lê Viet made the kick off in the second half. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ninh Binh fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! In the 55th minute there was a penalty for Cau Hai. Lê Thai stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nguyễn Hung. 3-0. If Trần Thanh Bình had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Trần Thien hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lê Viet in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hồ Tho saved Cau Hai from getting behind. Trần Van Tai Em hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Cau Hai's Lê Thai couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 87th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ninh Binh. If Trần Thuy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute, Trần Thanh Bình got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Huỳnh Tấn Dũng recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Huỳnh Tấn Dũng struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Nguyễn Hung didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cau Hai. When the referee ended the match the Cau Hai players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
