Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nguyễn Cuc made the kick off and thus started the match. Trần Mai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Cuc in the 4th minute of play. Trần Mai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Cuc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trần Mai made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Nguyễn Thanh Bình sent off a good shot on target. Nguyễn Hung hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lê Nga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dương Liem in the 17th minute of the match. Nguyễn Tho struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Lê Nga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ducanh. Nguyễn Tong kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Binh Duong's Trần Thai couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ducanh. Ducanh's Trần Mai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nguyễn Cuc in the 29th minute of play. If Nguyễn Cuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute, Nguyễn Hung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Dương Liem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ducanh's supporters rose to their feet, but Dương Liem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lê Nga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th match minute, Binh Duong was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Thai to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Tho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lê Nga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 42 minutes, Nguyễn Thanh Bình managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Binh Duong's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Thanh Bình was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Binh Duong's Nguyễn Cuc got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Cuc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The wind increased when Nguyễn Tho made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Dương Liem notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Binh Duong's Lê Nga. Lê Nga was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Nguyễn Cuc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ducanh getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Nguyễn Minh-ha hit a great ball. When Nguyễn Thanh Bình came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Binh Duong fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Thanh Bình couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute Nguyễn Cuc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Mai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Nguyễn Cuc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ducanh's Trần Mai was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trần Mai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huỳnh Thanh Bình, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nguyễn Thanh Bình received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Trần Mai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nguyễn Cuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Mai having to interfere. 77 minutes into the game, Huỳnh Thanh Bình was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Binh Duong's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ducanh the free kick. Huỳnh Thanh Bình kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Ducanh's Nguyễn Tong couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 78th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Binh Duong. After 80 played minutes Binh Duong got a freekick which was hit by Trần Anh Hung. Trần Mai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Cuc, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Dương Liem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Lê Nga skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Nguyễn Minh-ha fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ducanh's protests and gave Nguyễn Minh-ha a yellow card for diving instead. Nguyễn Minh-ha hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Binh Duong's Nguyễn Thanh Bình got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Cuc might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Trần Mai. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Cuc ran back to his position shaking his head. Nguyễn Cuc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Trần Mai read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
