But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Hieu Ngan couldn't finish the play. Lê Thuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Dương Teo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Lê Van Tai Em managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Qui Nhon's Nguyễn Hieu Ngan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a little luck, Do Son's Lê Van Tai Em got control of the ball when Trần Thanh Bình tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Phan Tong kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dương Teo. That made the score 1-1 in the 61 minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Qui Nhon's goalkeeper Dương Teo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lê Thuyet. Nguyễn Hieu Ngan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lê Van Tai Em having to interfere. Dương Teo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phan Tong in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Do Son booed when Qui Nhon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Dung didn't get a good kick on the ball. Đoàn Thai was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Hoàng Hieu Ngan fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Qui Nhon's Vũ Nam got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trần Nghiêm-Minh's late challenge caught a Qui Nhon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Trần Nghiêm-Minh helped the player get up and apologised. In the 89th match minute, Do Son was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trần Nghiêm-Minh to maneuver through the defense. When Qui Nhon's Nguyễn Hieu Ngan, in the 90th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Qui Nhon. In the 95th minute Phan Tong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dương Teo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
