Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Huỳnh Hieu Ngan kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phan Minh in the 2nd minute of play forced Long Tan's goalkeeper Lê Minh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute of the match Võ Hong Minh sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lê Phu skillfully saved the ball. When Huỳnh Hieu Ngan came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Long Tan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Huỳnh Hieu Ngan couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Minh-ha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Hoàng Tuyet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Phan Minh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lê Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 27 minutes into the match, Bac Giang's goal looked a bit too open when Huỳnh Hieu Ngan came free, but Lê Phu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Long Tan's Huỳnh Hieu Ngan got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 31 played minutes, Long Tan's Võ Hong Minh shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lê Phu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Long Tan reached it. 38 minutes in the game, Huỳnh Hieu Ngan dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Bac Giang's goal looked a bit too open when Hoàng Tuyet came free, but Lê Phu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hoàng Tuyet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Phạm Liem's late challenge caught a Long Tan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phạm Liem helped the player get up and apologised. In the 55th minute, Phạm Liem hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 56 minutes, Nguyễn Duc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Long Tan and the Bac Giang players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nguyễn Duc kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Phan Minh put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lê Minh. Lê Phu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huỳnh Hieu Ngan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd match minute, Bac Giang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phạm Liem to maneuver through the defense. If Hoàng Tuyet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Võ Hong Minh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lê Minh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Phan Minh in the 72nd minute of play. Hoàng Tuyet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Lê Phu made a huge save. Huỳnh Hieu Ngan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Long Tan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lương Tho to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Trần Tho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lê Minh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hoàng Tuyet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lê Phu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. After 86 minutes, Chung Phuoc mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bac Giang and the Long Tan players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Bac Giang getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Chung Phuoc hit a great ball. Đỗ Phuoc charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Đỗ Phuoc the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Long Tan getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Đỗ Phuoc hit a great ball. Trần Tho took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Lê Minh. Lê Minh dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Trần Tho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Lê Minh tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bac Giang's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
