Hoàng Loc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 19thth minute of the game Hoàng Loc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but An Loc's Lê Lam was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 21st minute, Nguyễn Dung hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hồ Phuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phạm Tinh having to interfere. Phạm Tinh took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Bien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nguyễn Bien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Huỳnh Teo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Nguyễn Bien sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 37 in the game by Hoàng Loc from a close distance when the talented Lê Lam managed to make a qualified save. An Loc's players were relieved. In the 40th minute Nguyễn Bien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phạm Tinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the An Loc defense, Huỳnh Duc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lê Lam. The An Loc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lê Lam should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Nguyễn Bien might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Phạm Tinh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nguyễn Bien ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 72 minutes, Hồ Phuc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An Loc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hồ Phuc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 73rd match minute, Saka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lê Minh-ha to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to An Loc getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Nguyễn Dung hit a great ball. After having played for 77 minutes, Huỳnh Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Huỳnh Duc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 81 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saka! An Loc's Nguyễn Bien got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lê Van Tai Em hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. If Nguyễn Bien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An Loc's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
