Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nguyễn Minh started the match with the kick off. Hồ Phuc was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 3rd minute. An Loc's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Trần Duc might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lê Lam. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Trần Duc ran back to his position shaking his head. Nguyễn Minh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lê Lam having to make a save. Nguyễn Tan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hồ Phuc in the 9th minute. After 9 played minutes Bạc Liêu got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Cadeo. When Nguyễn Minh came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Bạc Liêu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Minh couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute, Hồ Phuc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nguyễn Tan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hồ Phuc in the 21st minute. Hồ Phuc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Nguyễn Tan made a huge save. When Nguyễn Bien came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the An Loc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nguyễn Bien couldn't finish the play. Nguyễn Tan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 32nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Trần Duc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nguyễn Bien to make the kick off. Nguyễn Tan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nguyễn Bien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Trần Duc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Lê Lam made a huge save. 60 minutes into the match, Bạc Liêu's Nguyễn Minh sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lê Lam narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Trần Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bạc Liêu's supporters rose to their feet, but Trần Duc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lê Lam breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Bạc Liêu's goal looked a bit too open when Nguyễn Bien came free, but Nguyễn Tan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trần Duc got free with Lê Lam in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nguyễn Cadeo struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Lê Lam didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bạc Liêu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trần Duc got free with Lê Lam in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nguyễn Chi's late challenge caught a Bạc Liêu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nguyễn Chi helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th match minute, An Loc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Chi to maneuver through the defense. Nguyễn Diem, 78 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. During the 80th minute of the match Nguyễn Huynh Duc completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Nguyễn Huynh Duc a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 80th minute, one of An Loc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for An Loc. The referee gave Bạc Liêu a penalty, 82 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Nguyễn Diem, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of An Loc's Lê Lam. 1-1. Nguyễn Dung sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind An Loc's goalkeeper Lê Lam, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd match minute, An Loc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Dung to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
