Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Nguyễn Minh made the kick off and thus started the match. After 3 played minutes Bạc Liêu got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Minh. If Trần Tuyet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bạc Liêu's Trần Duc slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Trần Tinh. That made the score 1-0 after 11 minutes of play. In the 14th minute of the match, Trần Duc got a very nice opportunity to score, but Trần Tinh was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 16th minute, Binh Phuoc's Nguyễn Hoang seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Nguyễn Hoang the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Binh Phuoc protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Nguyễn Hoang had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Bạc Liêu. Nguyễn Diem stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Trần Tinh. 2-0. Đào Duong hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Binh Phuoc's Trần Tinh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Binh Phuoc from getting a goal against them. Lê Thuy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trần Tinh made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Đỗ Viet sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Binh Phuoc getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Phạm Hung hit a great ball. With a little luck, Binh Phuoc's Trần Tinh got control of the ball when Trần Duc tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 41st match minute, Bạc Liêu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Đỗ Viet to maneuver through the defense. Huỳnh Cuc's late challenge caught a Bạc Liêu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Huỳnh Cuc helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Huỳnh Cuc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Binh Phuoc's Trần Tinh proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Binh Phuoc from getting a goal against them. Trần Tinh came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Bạc Liêu's Trần Duc. But to his dismay, Trần Duc quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Huỳnh Cuc to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Bạc Liêu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Minh to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute Trần Duc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Trần Tinh saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Trần Tinh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nguyễn Minh in the 62nd minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, one of Bạc Liêu:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Binh Phuoc. Trần Tuyet stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nguyễn Tan. 3-1. Bạc Liêu's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Huỳnh Cuc 74 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. Phạm Hung blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nguyễn Tan having to make a save. Nguyễn Tan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lê Thuy went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. If Phạm Hung had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Duc in the 86th minute of play forced Binh Phuoc's goalkeeper Trần Tinh to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phạm Hung received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nguyễn Tan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lê Thuy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tan having to interfere. Trần Tinh showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Minh, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Bạc Liêu's Nguyễn Tan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Huỳnh Cuc in the 93rd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Huỳnh Cuc kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nguyễn Tan. That made the score 3-4 in the 95 minute of play. Huỳnh Cuc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nguyễn Tan having to interfere. When the match was over Binh Phuoc could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bạc Liêu throughout the match.
