Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Nguyễn Loc made the kick off which started today's match. Phạm Phu hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Nguyễn Viet came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Cam Ranh's Hoàng Thuyet. But to his dismay, Hoàng Thuyet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 13 minutes into the game, Lê Tuyet was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cam Ranh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cao Bang the free kick. After a rather tough play, Cam Ranh's Lê Tuyet got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 14th minute of the match Dương Phuoc sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Huỳnh Huy skillfully saved the ball. Trần Duc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After recieving a nice pass, Cao Bang's Dương Phuoc tried to score from far away in the 18th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Lê Huynh Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26th play minutes Hoàng Thuyet shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Nguyễn Viet and just under the crossbar into goal. Nguyễn Viet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lê Huynh Duc's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Nguyễn Loc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Huỳnh Huy having to interfere. Huỳnh Huy made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Trần Duc sent off a good shot on target. In the 39thth minute of the game Nguyễn Loc who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cam Ranh's Huỳnh Huy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Trần Duc struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Huỳnh Huy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cao Bang. Nguyễn Viet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lê Huynh Duc, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Trần Duc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lê Huynh Duc to make the kick off. Hoàng Thuyet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Nguyễn Viet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Phạm Hoang fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cao Bang's protests and gave Phạm Hoang a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cam Ranh booed when Cao Bang was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Phạm Hoang didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cam Ranh's Phạm Phong got a free kick in the 58th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nguyễn Loc in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huỳnh Huy saved Cam Ranh from getting behind. Hoàng Thuyet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Nguyễn Viet made a huge save. Hoàng Thuyet let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 63rd minute shot 1-4 at rihgt post. Bùi Hieu Ngan charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bùi Hieu Ngan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Cao Bang's Bùi Hieu Ngan got a free kick in the 66th minute. Cao Bang's Nguyễn Viet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lê Huynh Duc in the 68th minute of play. Huỳnh Huy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nguyễn Loc in the 72nd minute of the match. After 75 minutes of play Cao Bang's Bùi Hieu Ngan was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th match minute, Cao Bang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bùi Hieu Ngan to maneuver through the defense. Hoàng Thuyet's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nguyễn Viet firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 78th minute of the match, Lê Huynh Duc tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nguyễn Viet saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 78th minute, Lê Huynh Duc made a precise shot to the right of Nguyễn Viet. Cao Bang's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Hoàng Thuyet took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nguyễn Viet. Nguyễn Viet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-6. In the 83rd match minute, Cam Ranh was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nguyễn Minh Phượng to maneuver through the defense. 92 minutes into the game, Cao Bang's Trần Huy nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Huỳnh Huy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-6. The Cam Ranh supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cam Ranh would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
