Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lê Hieu got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Son La's Hoàng Cuc dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 9th minute, Pedro Paulo da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phạm Tấn Dũng made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Hoàng Cuc sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th minute, Nguyễn Cadeo made a precise shot to the right of Phạm Tấn Dũng. DA NANG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Nguyễn Pham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Hieu in the 21st minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Hoàng Cuc recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Phạm Tấn Dũng. Hoàng Cuc showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The supporters of Son La booed when DA NANG was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nguyễn Quang didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the match, Son La's goal looked a bit too open when Trần Pham came free, but Nguyễn Pham reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Nguyễn Hung took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Phạm Tấn Dũng to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Trần Pham in the 33rd minute of play forced Son La's goalkeeper Nguyễn Pham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nguyễn Cadeo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Phạm Tấn Dũng made a huge save. After a rather tough play, DA NANG's Melvin Mabanag got a free kick in the 37th minute. Phạm Tấn Dũng didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 43rd minute, which inside left pole to 5-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Phạm Tấn Dũng showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nguyễn Hung, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Nguyễn Ho hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nguyễn Cadeo in the 59th minute of play forced DA NANG's goalkeeper Phạm Tấn Dũng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Nguyễn Hung made a precise shot to the right of Phạm Tấn Dũng. DA NANG's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After some careless play in the DA NANG defense, Hoàng Cuc kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Phạm Tấn Dũng. The DA NANG fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Phạm Tấn Dũng should have stopped the shot. After 71 minutes of play, Son La's Nguyễn Hung made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phạm Tấn Dũng was left in no man's land by his defense there! 75 minutes into the match, Nguyễn Hung notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of DA NANG's Phạm Tấn Dũng. Phạm Tấn Dũng was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nguyễn Hung's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Phạm Tấn Dũng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Nguyễn Pham successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nguyễn Pham showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lê Hieu in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to DA NANG getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Melvin Mabanag hit a great ball.
