Nguyễn Pham came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by The Whales's Nguyễn Thuyet. The supporters of The Whales booed when Son La was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hoàng Cuc didn't get a good kick on the ball.
