In the 6thth minute of the game Nguyễn Hoang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 7-1 FC's Nguyễn Viet was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Huỳnh Tong fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 7-1 FC's protests and gave Huỳnh Tong a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to 7-1 FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Huỳnh Tong hit a great ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Nguyễn Hoang managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manchester Dr Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nguyễn Hoang was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of 7-1 FC booed when Manchester Dr Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dương Loc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 26th minute, Ngô Tan fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 29 played minutes Manchester Dr Fc got a freekick which was hit by Nguyễn Tong. 7-1 FC's Nguyễn Nam got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nguyễn Phuong hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Dương Loc kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 35th minute by Ngô Tan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of 7-1 FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Manchester Dr Fc:s goal. Nguyễn Viet didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mai Huynh Duc went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nguyễn Nam made a kick off. Nguyễn Viet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mai Huynh Duc, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nguyễn Thuyet kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The long shot by Lê Diem in the 55th minute really tested Nguyễn Viet's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Ngô Tan managed to get in a good position for a shot. 7-1 FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ngô Tan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Phu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Thuyet hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Lê Diem succeeded in the game's 63rd minute to get real power on a long shot . 7-1 FC's Nguyễn Viet hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-3! The audience was convinced that Mai Huynh Duc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nguyễn Viet was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, 7-1 FC's Nguyễn Thuyet got a free kick in the 78th minute. A hard shot 80 in the game by Nguyễn Hoang from a close distance when the talented Nguyễn Viet managed to make a qualified save. 7-1 FC's players were relieved. If Mai Huynh Duc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nguyễn Hoang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mai Huynh Duc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nguyễn Viet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Mai Huynh Duc managed to get in a good position for a shot. Manchester Dr Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Mai Huynh Duc was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nguyễn Viet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nguyễn Viet was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nguyễn Hoang showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 92 minute of play. The Manchester Dr Fc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Manchester Dr Fc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
